Last week I had the opportunity to sing with the Rotterdam Symphony Chorus in the fenomal work of Mahler: his third symphony! The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra played this magnificent work and was conducted by Lahav Shani. I could glance at the orchestra world and at the world of an orchestra conductor: what is he working on, how do you conduct this and so on. Four concerts later, two in De Doelen, Rotterdam, one in Dortmund and one in Köln, I can say it was a very intense, beautiful week!
