The past week I had the amazing opportunity to follow a masterclass in Zagreb, Croatia. The Croatian Radio Television Choir was conducted every day by eight students and I was one of them. Marc Korovitch, condcutor of the Swedisch Radio Choir, led the masterclass by giving the students feedback while rehearsing. How a small change in movement can mean so much more comfort for the singers; how you can get the singers to act to the fullest of their abilities; how you have to feel the different characters, conducting is not only moving your hands. We worked on the fabulous All-night Vigil by Rachmaninoff. It was a great experience to be able to conduct this professional choir. Thank you very much!
